Seek God
We are starting off our 7 days of prayer and fasting with a focus on seeking God. As we put time aside during this season of prayer and fasting we are intentionally drawing near to God and seeking Him above everything else. What is it you are believing for over these next 7 days?
Prayer: God I pray for more of you in my life. As I continue to seek you and put you first I pray that you would refresh my soul. I know that when I put you first in my life, everything else will come into order. Amen.

Thank God for Grace/Mercy/Peace
It is by grace that we have been saved! This is something that we ought to be thankful for. It wasn’t our doing, our behavior, our resume or good looks that got us saved. Grace, mercy and peace are not feelings they are a person, and that person is Jesus. Today let’s be thankful for Jesus, and as we draw near to Him He fills us with grace, mercy and peace.
Prayer: God I thank You today for Your grace, mercy and peace. I don’t deserve it, it’s all because of Your incredible love for me. I am grateful that You died on the cross, rose again and sent Your Spirit to make a home in my heart. Amen.

Tame my Tongue & Transform my mind
The Bible says that the power of life and death is in the tongue. In other words our WORDS shape our WORLD. What we declare, agree with or speak out is what can come to pass. Our prayer today is that we would continue to speak life over every situation no matter what! And that as a church community we would be known for the way we love and genuinely encourage one another.
The Bible says that transformation begins with changing the way we think. How powerful! When we are in God’s presence, in God’s word and with God’s people our minds and hearts start to change and we continue to be more and more like Jesus.
Prayer: God would you continue to shape and change my thinking. Help me not to dwell on my situation, but to focus on You in all seasons of life. Amen. God I pray that you would help me to control my tongue. Help me to speak life and agree with what You said, not with what I feel, or what I see. Amen.

Healthy, Happy Marriages
You know what they say right? Happy wife, happy life? Who can relate? But in all seriousness a happy marriage is the great foundation in which ministry and life flow from. Paul says that we should endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, show kindness, tolerate weaknesses and forgive as we have been forgiven. As you continue to put Jesus in the centre of your marriage, be encouraged to make a healthy happy marriage a priority.
Prayer: God help our marriage to be full of joy and forgiveness. God together we pray for one another that You would strengthen each of us in the grace of God that we may continue to reflect you in all things. Amen.

God’s Favour/Opportunities/Financial Resources
We serve a good God who has incredible plans for us. In fact the bible says that He came to give us life, and a better life then we ever dreamed of (John 10:10). We have to be confident that as a child of God we have access to His favour and blessings. Even when our bank accounts or opportunities try and tell us otherwise we have to remain confident in God’s ability not for us just to survive, but to thrive in all areas of our lives.
Prayer: God you are my source, and I give you thanks for Your continued blessings and provision in my life. God I pray over my finances and speak Your blessing in Jesus name. Amen.

Spiritual Growth
Remember when you were a kid and you desired to grow up immediately? Putting on clothes far too big or imagining what your wedding day would look like? Just like we have a desire to grow up physically, God also has a desire for us to grow spiritually. That we would move from what the bible describes as infant stages, milk, into meat. Understanding the word of God and leading other people into truth.
Prayer: God I pray that you would help me to grow from milk to meat, infancy to maturity, and that you would add or take away anything that would inhibit my growth. Amen.

Salvation of Lost
Salvation is at the top of God’s agenda. That is why Jesus came and died on the cross, to take away the sins of the world, restore relationships and secure eternity. We all know someone that is needing to give their life over to Jesus. Don’t stop praying and believing that they would encounter the love of God and that He would use you in a profound way to reach the lost.
Prayer: God I pray for the people closest to me that they would have a revelation of your plan for their life and that ultimately they would come to know you. Use me Lord to see many people come to know You. Amen.
